Typical use

Use where a gigabit link is needed beyond 100 m, for example 4K cameras or a remote access point. Place the extender at the end of a cable run; it is powered by that PoE line and feeds two PoE devices. Several units can be chained for longer distances.

Notes before ordering

  • Each cable segment can be up to 130 m. Each extender in a chain draws some power, and all downstream devices share what the first switch port supplies, so the 30 W version supports 1–2 cascade stages and the 60 W version 2–3. Tell us the cameras, cable lengths and switch model and we will check the power budget.
  • Specify indoor or outdoor housing when requesting a quote.
