Typical use

Install next to a non-PoE IP camera or other 12 V device. Connect the PoE cable from the switch to the splitter input, then connect the camera’s network port and 12 V DC jack to the splitter outputs.

Notes before ordering

Rated for indoor use within 0 to +45 °C. For outdoor locations, install inside a weatherproof junction box.
IEEE 802.3af input. A 12 V 2 A (24 W) load exceeds what an 802.3af port can deliver (about 13 W at the device), so plan for cameras drawing about 12 W or less.
